The Engineering Behind Reliable Gas Solutions

At Plum Gas Solutions, engineering is directly tied to how our systems perform in the field.

Our engineers design, test, and refine gas conditioning and pressure regulation systems that operate reliably across varying temperatures, site conditions, and customer requirements. These decisions impact system uptime, performance consistency, and how quickly issues can be identified and resolved once equipment is deployed.

Engineering at Plum shapes how systems are installed, supported, and relied on in real operating environments. From initial design through deployment and ongoing operation, engineering discipline is embedded into every stage of the process.

Built for Real-World Performance

Gas supply systems must operate under a wide range of conditions, often in remote or demanding environments. That requires more than meeting specifications on paper.

At Plum, engineering decisions are made with real-world application in mind. System design considers temperature control, pressure stability, and data visibility to support consistent performance over time. This approach helps ensure systems remain within required operating parameters and can be monitored and adjusted as conditions change.

The result is equipment that performs predictably, supports operational continuity, and provides the visibility needed to manage performance in the field.

Meet the Engineers Behind the Systems

Plum’s engineering team brings deep industry experience and technical expertise to every system we deploy.

Chris Damiani, P.Eng., MBA, Chief Engineer
Chris Damiani, P.Eng., MBA – Chief Engineer

Chris brings more than 25 years of experience in the CNG industry. He has led the engineering and construction of CNG fueling stations across North America, with systems operating globally. His background in CNG compression and dispensing informs how Plum systems are designed for reliability, scalability, and real-world performance.

Mark Roy, P.Eng., MBA – Director of Electrical & Digital Systems Engineering

Mark brings 14 years of experience in the CNG industry and specializes in trailer fueling algorithms. He leads Plum’s in-house SCADA and data analysis efforts, helping connect system intelligence with field performance. His work supports more informed operation and continuous system improvement.

Engineering That Supports Ongoing Performance

Engineering at Plum does not stop at deployment.

System performance is continuously evaluated through data, field feedback, and ongoing refinement. This allows for improvements over time and supports consistent operation across changing conditions and use cases.

Through this approach, Plum systems are designed not only to perform, but to adapt and improve as they are used in real operating environments.
